Brightec were delighted to return to Solutrans this year where we had the opportunity to speak to many of our valued customers across the temperature-controlled transport industry. This was the first opportunity in a long time that we were able to get up close and personal with the latest innovations of the transport sector and were particularly impressed with the recent advancements in commercial EV.
From a personal perspective, the prospect of zero-emission heavy goods is something that we have dreamed about from our own inception. BlueSeal was created for the purposes of operating a zero-emission solution to refrigerated transport by significantly reducing the cooling energy spent by open doors during deliveries, allowing vehicles to preserve valuable fuel (or on-board energy) when it is needed most. We were humbled to see some of the major trailer manufacturers adopt BlueSeal technology as a way to manage infiltration loads in their vehicles and contribute towards a greener approach to transporting refrigerated goods.
In particular, Lamberet showcased three vehicles featuring BlueSeal air curtains which was the result of a collaborative project first unveiled at Solutrans 2019. The Frigoline HD Electrique Solaire, SR2 Fresh2 Hydrogen Electrique and SR2 Electrique Rechargeable all featured custom built BlueSeal air curtains integrated into their 100% pneumatic isothermal shutter doors and provide industry-leading solutions to delivering on Lamberet’s commitment towards zero-emission technologies for refrigerated transport.
We were further impressed by a vehicle featured on Lecapitaine’s stand which featured BlueSeal Original as their chosen method for cargo temperature control, featuring the latest generation of their patented Easy Acc’Air system which combines the benefits of a roller shutter and swing door.
We left Solutrans safe in the knowledge that the transport industry is on route to our aligned goals towards a zero-emission transport industry, with many commercial vehicle manufacturers using cutting edge technology for achieving this. As we make strides towards an environmentally friendly transport industry, it is a great pleasure to see BlueSeal air curtains contribute towards some of the most iconic vehicles in the transport world and feel secure in the knowledge that these technologies will be adopted and embraced in the very near future as standard.
