- Determine the required voltage: The air curtain must be connected to a 12V or 24V power source, depending on the model you are using.
- Connection Setup: The air curtain should be set up to automatically turn on when at least one door is opened. You can achieve this by:
- Connecting the air curtain to the vehicle’s battery. Use a time relay and a magnetic door switch between the battery and air curtain. This setup ensures the air curtain turns ON whenever a door is opened.
- Alternatively, connect the air curtain to the battery pack and control box of the vehicle’s tail lift. This will allow the air curtain to switch ON automatically when the tail lift is activated.
Note: If you’re using a BlueSeal air curtain with a BlueControl module (either integrated or modular), it is ‘plug & play.’ This means you can directly connect it to the power source without needing any additional components.
